When to go and what you will photograph in Europe
Northern Spain: the Cantabrian coast
Late April to early May
In spring the north of Spain is at its greenest. The Cantabrian coast offers dramatic seascapes, cliffs and sea stacks, such as the rock arches of Playa de las Catedrales at low tide, while the Picos de Europa rise just a few kilometres inland.
The 11-day route starts and ends in Bilbao and mixes coast, mountains and colourful fishing villages, in a group of 6 people at most.

Early October
Early autumn brings golden grasses, changing weather and soft light to the Highlands. It's the season to photograph Glencoe, castles such as Eilean Donan and Kilchurn, and the most iconic places on the Isle of Skye: the Old Man of Storr, the Quiraing and Neist Point.
9 days from Edinburgh, with a maximum of 6 photographers so we can adapt every day to the forecast.

Late October to early November
Around the end of October the nights are already long enough to hunt the northern lights, while the days still give plenty of hours for waterfalls, black sand beaches and mountains such as Kirkjufell and Vestrahorn.
In 10 days we drive the full Ring Road, including the icebergs of Diamond Beach, in a technical workshop for a maximum of 6 people.

How our Europe photo tours work
Our photography tours in Europe are designed by photographers for photographers: small groups of 6 people at most, routes planned around sunrise, sunset and night sessions, and enough time at each location to work every composition calmly instead of stopping for a quick snapshot.
On every trip a professional photographer guides you in the field with camera settings, composition, filters and long exposures, and the light and the weather decide the plan for each day. It works whether you are still learning or already shoot in manual mode.
Which Europe photo tour should you choose? It depends on the season and the kind of images you are after: green cliffs and seascapes in Northern Spain in May, autumn colours and castles in the Scottish Highlands in early October, or waterfalls, glaciers and northern lights on Iceland’s Ring Road at the end of October. The Dolomites and Tuscany with the Cinque Terre run as private tours on the dates you choose.

How many people are in each Europe photo tour?
Groups are small: 6 photographers at most in Northern Spain, Scotland and Iceland. The Dolomites, and Tuscany with the Cinque Terre, run as private tours for 2 to 6 people.
Do I need to be an experienced photographer?
No. Our tours are open to all levels. The photographer guide adapts every explanation to each person, from camera settings to composition, filters and long exposures.
When is the best time to travel to each destination?
Northern Spain in May, Scotland in early October and Iceland from late October to early November, when the nights are long enough for the northern lights. The Dolomites are at their best in autumn.
Are flights included?
Flights to the starting point are not included. Each tour starts and ends at an easy-to-reach airport: Bilbao, Edinburgh, Reykjavik or Venice.
Can I book a private photo tour in Europe?
Yes. Any of these destinations can be booked as a private photo tour for your group, with the dates and the pace you prefer.
What language are the tours in?
