Our Tenerife Photo Tour, its a workshop around the best photography locations in the Canary Islands. A journey designed to enjoy one of the most beautiful of the eight Canary Islands. During these days we will be enjoying the amazing coast of this island, but also the interior locations as the famous volcano of El Teide.
This photography workshop will take us through the best spots of Tenerife, a perfect place for a Spain Photo Tour. We will be focusing to visit these locations during different light conditions with safety. Some of the places we will visit are the beaches of Benijo, Roques, or Punta del Hidalgo as an example.
Tenerife has become a famous spot for photographers all around the world from its clean skies during the nights. This way, we choose the best week to get the best possible conditions to capture the Milky way during the nights. Some of the locations we will visit with this purpose will be Zapatito de la Reina, Roques de García, Minas de San José, or Roque Cinchado.
During the days, we also will have time for post-processing lessons and composition revisions of all photos we will be taking during our tour. A perfect moment to improve your skills in the computer, but also to understand better how to plan and photograph the next locations that we will visit.
We’ll be meeting at Tenerife South Airport at midday to start our Tenerife Photography Workshop. From here, we will move to our comfortable hotel in the north, where we will set up our base for the next 8 days.
After that, we will have a short meeting to explain the basic details and recommendations. This way, we can give you the first tips for future photo sessions. Also, will be a great opportunity to know each other and rest before moving to our first location.
Once we finish our first meeting, we will move to our first location to start capturing the beautiful seascapes of Tenerife during sunset.
Our planning for the next 6 days will change according to weather conditions. This way, you will be able to be part and learn how to manage your next trip. We have all planned according to perfect conditions, sea tides, and moon phases. During all our steps, our guides will share with the group, the reasons to visit each location at this time.
To start the days, we will awake early every day to arrive at the spot before sunrise. Once there, our guides will show to you the specific characteristics of the spot before start shooting. During the sunrise time, our guides will be helping all participants with composition techniques and trying that all develop his own style.
After that, we will have breakfast in the area or already at our hotel. According to the day, we can have a post-processing lesson, rest in our rooms (if we had a night photography session the previous day), or visit another location.
During afternoons, we will approach to our sunset location. Once there we will have time to study the conditions and look for good compositions before the sun gives us the best light conditions.
In the evening, we will have time for a tasty dinner before move back to our location to capture the Milky Way (if weather conditions are optimal).
We recommend you bring your own laptop to practice with us. All our lessons will be recorded but are always practice close to our guides as they will be able to assist you during the process.
Today, we will enjoy our last sunrise in a close location that we visited during the previous days. After that, we will enjoy a well-deserved breakfast before come back to our hotel. From here we’ll drive back to Tenerife South Airport, where this Tenerife photo workshop will come to the end.
