Depending on the weather conditions each day, we will choose from the numerous secret locations around our base near Leknes. We will visit all these environments with beautiful landscapes with snow-capped mountains and seascapes such as those of Vik or Uttakleiv and its famous point with the dragon’s eye.

Also during these days, we will visit other lesser-known locations and viewpoints, such as caves or waterfalls. Taking advantage of our breaks, we will have time to do processing classes. So we will be able to edit the photos we take during our trip. These days in the villa, we will visit the picturesque and photogenic town of Nusfjord, where we can take a photo walk through its small center, as well as have a coffee to warm up and try its delicious cakes.

And of course, every night, we will keep an eye on the weather and the forecast to photograph the northern lights in these locations. The dates chosen for this trip coincide with the new moon and long winter nights, giving us the perfect conditions to photograph the green lady. Definitely, a complete photography trip to visit the polar landscapes of Lofoten.

Days 5-8 Lofoten Islands

After taking photos during the sunrise on day 5, we will return to our hotel to collect our luggage and change location, this time we will stay in the beautiful village of Hamnoya, in the well-known red houses.
