North France Photo Tour

During the North France Photo Tour, we will photograph the most iconic locations as Paris, Normandy & Loira Castles. A complete workshop to visit during the best hours their famous spots.

In our visit to Paris, the capital of the country, we will have the opportunity to capture incredible photographs. From our hotel, we will move around the City of Light as the Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, the bridges of the Seine River, or Montmartre.

After we will move to visit the towns & landscapes of Normandy. From the cliffs of Étretat to the historical spots around the beaches of Normandy like their cemetery. Our last spot in the region will be magnificent Mount St. Michel close to Brittany.

In addition, before the departure, we will have the experience of shooting the heart of Loire. From Tours to Orleans, we will set a full-day workshop to photograph castles like Chenonceau, Amboise or Chambord for example.

We will meet at our hotel in Paris. In case you need help, we will give you instructions to arrive at our hotel.

Once there, we will have a short meeting to know each other. Also, will be a good moment to explain to you our planning for the nearest days of the workshop.

According to the time, we will walk to the Tour Montparnasse. We will climb for our first photoshoot with views of the Eiffel Tower and the city.

At night, we will come back to our hotel. If the weather is good we can make go for a walk around the Seine and shoot the bridges.

We will come back to the Jardins of Trocadero, to capture the Eiffel Tower during sunrise. At this month, the sun will be raising just in the back of the tower.

After that, we will walk to the Arch of Triumph and walk through the luxury Champs Elysees of Paris. We will arrive at the Garnier opera in the afternoon, after having lunch in some city restaurant in the district.

After a tour inside this amazing building, we will move to the Pyramid of the Louvre Museum. As today will be closed the museum will be an excellent opportunity to capture this famous building during sunset.

At night, you can join us to walk around cousy streets in the Latin Quarter. During this night, we will walk also around the Seine doing some night photography in the City of Light.

Today, we will enjoy the sunrise from the Pont des Arts. It’s the perfect moment to have a view of the Ile de la Cite. The sun will rise behind the Sainte Chapelle the Cathedral of Notre Dame, offering us a great photo.

Once we finish, we will move to the West of Paris to take photos of Cafe & streets like the famous Rue Crémieux. In this area, we will have lunch, before moving to Montmartre.

The famous district of Montmartre is plenty of spots for photographers. Of course, the main location will be the Sacre Coeur at the top of the hill. But also will capture beautiful cafes and streets of this artistic district.

We will wait for the sunset at the viewpoint of the Sacre Coeur, which will offer us incredible views of Paris. As soon as we finish our shooting, we will continue walking the district. The metro stations and buildings like the Moulin Rouge are perfect for photography during nights.

As on the other days, we will awake early in the morning for the sunrise session. We can come back to the Eiffel Tower if the first time the weather didn’t give us the perfect lights.

During the morning, you will have free time. So it will be a perfect moment to rest or visit your own other spots. Our guides will manage to arrange our transportation for the nearest days during this time.

Before lunch, we will depart to Ruan, which will be our base for the next few days. In this city, we will have lunch before traveling to the coast of Normandy.

This afternoon we will photograph the cliffs of Étretat. This sunset and the next day, we will explore these white chalk cliffs. Locations as the Falaise of Etretat, Aval & Manneporte will be our landscape targets.

Today we will visit one nearest spot, we not will mention it here but we are sure you will love it. After that, we will come back to our hotel, where we will have time for postprocessing and revision of the photos taken during the workshop.

In the afternoon, we will come back to Etretat for sunset. Exploring & doing photography from the beach and the viewpoints. We will have another opportunity to capture great photographs of these coast cliffs.

This morning, we will awake earlier than usual. We will be setting our photoshoot in a village direction to Brittany. After that, we will visit historical locations on the coast. From bunkers to the American cemetery of the Normandy’s landing during the Second World War.

A complete tour, to experience with our group team leader that will explain to you all about this historical moment. We will have lunch in the area, before departure to our next destination close to Brittany.

Mount Saint Michel will be our next village to visit in our photography tour. We will arrive for sunset, and at night will be setting our base at our hotel in the closest village of Pontorson.

We will awake to arrive with time at our location for the sunrise photoshoot in Dinan. This beautiful medieval village has a great viewpoint and also nice small streets to capture before lunch.

After that, we will have lunch in a restaurant. During the day, we will have time to visit the interior of the fortress of Mt. St Michel before sunset.

From the fields, we will photograph the abbey on Mont Saint Michel, with almost total privacy. Even if the place is crowded with tourists, the most beautiful places for photographers are from the marshlands and fields that surround the castle.

As usual, our day will start with a photoshoot of Mt. St. Michel, this day for a less known place. After that, we will depart to the Loire.

During our route to Tours, we will do several stops to capture castles like Saumur, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau & the Real Fortress of Chinon. We will arrive at our hotel on Tours in the night, so we can enjoy the sunset and light illuminations of these places.

Today, we will photograph the castle of Chenonceau during the golden hour. After that, we will spend the day visiting several castles direction to the north of the Loire River. You will visit beautiful architecture & scenes all day.

Some castles we will stop at are Chaumont, Amboise, Chambord, or Cheverny finishing at Sully-sur-Loire for sunset. We will have time today to buy some souvenirs on our last complete day of the workshop. Also, at night we will make our last photography class before the departure.

During all days, we will enjoy french food, have fun with the group and enjoy the experience of traveling around France. But without forgetting the individual tuitions to improve your photography skills.

We will drive to Charles de Gaulle Airport, where will finish our photography workshop. If you depart from another airport, we will try to manage the time to leave all people at their destination. Anyway, we will help you to find the best tickets and schedule all tour participants.

In addition to this photography tour, if you want to spend more days in Paris, we can make an extension before or after. We will manage all people interested and give you a final price for these vacation extensions according to all travelers interested.
