We are preparing a Patagonia photo tour, a trip to the stretch of the world that is well-known for all landscape photographers. Travel with local guides specialized in the area like nobody else that we will announce soon.
During 12 Days, we will be visiting the Southern Andean mountains, between Argentina and Chile. A land with plenty of glacier-fed lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and of course incredible jagged peaks. The cloud formations that occur in the Andes, create incredible moments to capture with our cameras.
An expedition designed to enjoy every step in Southern Argentina and Chile during the peak of the autumn colors. We will spend the necessary time to enjoy all the wonders these National Parks have to offer like Perito Moreno, Torres del Paine, El Chalten, and Los Glaciares. Perfect raw locations that will help us to explore our creativity and enjoy nature as nowhere else in the world.
The itinerary we are prepared, focus to capture the charm and soul of Patagonia with good access to each location, but without sacrificing comfort in our accommodations. Also, this adventure will be led by two photograph guides, and also a mountain/photographer local guide expert in the area specialized in wildlife.
It will improve our flexibility, and you will be sure to have an expert photographer to guide each moment according to your level and the kind of photography you want to capture in Patagonia.
After having picked up all the participants at the El Calafate Airport (FTE), we headed towards the famous town of El Chaltén. Arriving in El Chaltén we will stop to photograph for the first time from afar the imposing Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. After our first photo session, we will arrive at our hotel where we will have dinner before resting in our rooms.
We will spend the next four days in El Chaltén, the trekking capital of the world. During these days, we will photograph the most impressive sunrises and sunsets in Patagonia. With the Fitz Roy dyed red and the most beautiful colors of autumn.
We will have time to visit various locations such as Lake Torre (with views of Cerro Torre and Torre Glacier), Lake Capri, Lake of the Three, several waterfalls, canyons, and incredibly photogenic areas. The itinerary is not fixed, depending on the changing climate of the area we will take different routes to make the most of the best daylight hours. Some walks will be done very early (5 am in the morning) to be able to enjoy these moments of light.
We will also give processing and editing classes on the photos taken these days.
After sunrise and breakfast, we will collect our bags to go to the jewel of Chilean Patagonia: Torres del Paine National Park. It will be a journey by asphalt road of about 7-8 hours by car with stops along the way. In the afternoon we will arrive at our hotel. Its located inside the park, where we will explain in detail with the local guide what we will visit in Torres del Paine during the next few days, adapting to the current weather conditions.
We will be in the next 5 days and 4 nights in the park, exploring different impressive locations. Here, the climate and the fauna offer us one of the greatest photographic spectacles of nature. It’s one of the best places in the world to find dramatic skies, thanks to the strong Patagonian winds, lenticular clouds are created, which create amazing conditions.
During these days we will visit different locations during sunrises and sunsets, such as Lake Pehoe, Salto Grande, the dead forest, Laguna Amarga, Lago Gray, Mirador Cóndor, and many more iconic places. We will access the locations through short trips by car and simple routes.
We will also spend a day searching for pumas. In addition, we will probably see other animals such as guanacos, condors, rheas, and foxes.
We will leave space for another edition masterclass.
After breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to go back to El Calafate (Argentina) where we will sleep the next two nights.
We will visit the Perito Moreno Glacier early, one of the most impressive glaciers in the world, with a height of 70 meters and a width of 5 kilometers. Thanks to the facilities, you can get to appreciate the glacier from very close and from different points of view.
As an optional activity and if the weather is good, you can enjoy the sunset on a plane over the Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre, departing from El Calafate.
We will transport you to the El Calafate airport where will finish our Patagonia Photo Tour.

Price
The price of this Patagonia Photo Tour is based on the participation of a minimum of 6 participants. In case there are not enough participants, the possibility of making the trip will be offered with an increase proportional to the price, or a 100% refund of the total paid.
The last time of exchange rate calculation was January 1st, 2021, the final price can be modified up to 30 days before the tour start.
Accommodation
The accommodations offered are shared double rooms at Hotels with private bathrooms.

Insurance
Our tours include basic insurance, we suggest contracting full cover insurance. Contact us to expand your insurance coverage.
Transports
Our tours include all internal transports (cars, vans, trains, or flights). We don’t include international flights, but we will guide you at the moment of your booking the best options to arrive to the destiny from your home.
Itinerary
The itinerary mentioned can be changed due to a force major reasons like weather conditions or accidents for example.
Payment & Refunds
To book your place you need to pay 20% of the total cost. The total payment must be made 15 days before the trip. For security reasons due to the pandemic, you do not need to pay for booking
This tour is done by LLC “CLUB OF PHOTO TRAVELERS”, due to illness or other reasons the trip may be made by another guide.
Cancellations
DUE TO COVID-19, we have exceptional conditions for cancellations: Before 15 days we refund 100%. Less than 15 days there is no refund.
