Born in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, since his adolescence he has been interested in photography, until in 2014 when he discovered that his true passion was documentary photography. A short time later, in 2015, and given the need to continuously capture images, he began with street photography. Especially attracted by the popular festivals and the society around him in Andalusia, he highly appreciates the light that living on the Costa de la Luz provides him.
While little by little he is developing his documentary photographic projects, in his day-to-day he takes street photography, that place for everyone, where he spends his life and a multitude of moments and stories occur. His photos and articles have been published in written and digital media such as “Street Photography Magazine” (2017), “121Clicks” (2020) “El País” (2021), “Inspired Eye (2023)” or “Lensculture” ( 2023). His photographs have been shown in collective exhibitions in Florence, Miami, Siena, Seville, and the University of Cádiz. On an individual level, in 2018 he edited his first and only book “Transitos de Luz”, and in 2021 he exhibited his documentary project “Carmen de Bonanza” in different parts of Spain.
He has won various awards and recognitions in competitions such as “International Photography Awards” (IPA, New York 2019), “The Miami Street Photography Awards” (MSPF, Miami 2019), “Siena International Photography Awards (SIPA, Siena 2019), “Street Photography International” (SPI, London 2020), “Urban Photo Awards Contest” (Triestre, 2021) and “Lensculture Street Awards” (Amsterdam 2023).
