The Faroe Islands Photo Workshop is the perfect travel to learn photography in one of the most amazing landscapes of the world and its specific wildlife. During these days we will visit places like Bøsdalafossur, Drangarnir, Gasadalur, or Kalsoy. As a workshop, we not will have a defined itinerary. We will spend most of each day photographing several of the most spectacular points of the Faroe Islands.
During these photo workshop, we will have a lot of hours of sun, as the sunsets will be around 23:30 and sunrise at 3:30. We will focus to be in a good location for these hours, and the rest of our time we will be learning composition photographing other locations or wildlife photography. Also, we will have time for editing lessons, to make this tour a complete experience to improve your photographs. Definitely the Faroe Islands Photo Workshop is a special experience if you love landscape photography.
Vágar Airport, Faroe Islands
Our Faroe Islands Photo Workshop, will start at the Vagar Airport. From here, we will drive directly to our first accommodation at the west part of the Faroe Islands. At day 4 we will move to our second accommodation at east.
We’ll spend these days exploring the most iconic locations of the Faroe Islands. From Mykines to Vidoy, exploring the best spots in the main islands as Streymoy, Eysturoy, Kalsoy & Bordoy. We will be photographing the incredible cliffs and its amazing waterfalls, but also the wildlife and the beautiful architecture of the small villages that we will found all around these islands.
These months of the year, the sunsets will be at around 23:30 and sunrise at around 3:45, therefore we will move after sunsets to the sunrise location, and go to sleep after that. This way, we will be able to capture the best moments of lights and spend the day exploring locations, resting, and doing edition lessons.
For our workshop, we will have two different accommodations in the West and East parts of Faroe Islands. This way, we can be close to any location and as the Islands are close to each other, be able to capture all the amazing spots without need to drive long distances.
